The Peak of it!!

I think Kyran right now is at the peak of the so called TERRIBLE TWOS!! There are moments that he is so helpful and cuddly and moments i would rather disappear and not see him for that moment...my oh my, i get in a position that i dont know what to do with him. Like yesterday, 2 hours of non stop whining and fighting for every little damn thing. He fought from dinner through bedtime, tantrum after tantrum. Cooked for him some delicious scrambled eggs and as he saw it he started making these faces and whining uncontrollably. He ended up having no dinner, and the tantrum was bigger because he was still hungry, and my rule is that you eat what is served, but to be a bit softer i gave him a yogurt but the bad mood remained.. What joy right!!! But anyway i truly believe that this is a phase too where he is frustrated since he is trying hard to speak poor thing, PATIENCE, PATIENCE is what we need!!!

Damn Shots!!!!

aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh haven`t slept much almost all night just thinking about the damn shots and how much my dear daughter will be poked later on TODAY.... I thought i will be used to it by now, since i gone through it already with Kiki for whole 2 years, but NO, i still dread every single appointment at the doctor`s office. Poor soul, poor little body!! But us mothers, we do everything for their best, to avoid any illnesses and any bad consequences. Hoping Anaya will be better in tolerating the pain than Kyran was since i still freshly remember the nights he used to cry helplessly with the pain!! But why oh why!!!

Obsession!

Kiki is absolutely obsessed with the apps on the I pad. I must say that he is pretty good on manoeuvring it and it amazes me. There is this app that try and help toddlers to form letters called Word World and its incredible to see a 2 year old able to form the letters together without mistakes. And yet he is still trying to break the code of  language which i find very interesting, since in receptive he scores excellency and expressive he decides to use other methods like pointing and all sorts of gibberish words. Well he will eventually talk and i know i will pray on those days for him to shut up haha. But we try to limit as much as we can, because it stops him from eating, from interacting and from doing anything else. Its incredible how the technology now a days jumped over every single educative thing.
